John M. Hockin, Jr. presented “Zealous Advocacy” to the Civil Section of the Haydn Proctor Inns of Court. The program explored the ethical obligations of attorneys in zealously advocating the positions of clients at trial while not violating the Rules of Ethics, Rules of Evidence or Court Rules. The program provided examples from actual appellate cases with discussion of whether the trial techniques violated the Rules of Ethics, Rules of Evidence or Court Rules.
