Congratulations to Michael B. Kelly on a “No Cause at Trial” in Ocean County! The case was tried in Superior Court, Ocean County over a period of two days. Defendant conceded liability and the case was tried on damages only. The injuries were alleged cervical and lumbar bulges and herniations. The defense argued the findings were age-related, not caused by the accident and that plaintiff did not sustain a permanent injury. In a 7-0 vote, the jury returned a no cause verdict finding that plaintiff did not prove a permanent injury.
