Congratulations Robert A. Giannone!

Congratulations to Robert A. Giannone on a “No Cause at Trial” in the Superior Court, Monmouth County. The case, which was tried over a period of two weeks before the Honorable Dennis R. O’Brien, involved an allegation that the defendant doctor deviated from accepted standards of care during the performance of a colon resection. Plaintiff alleged that the deviation lead to a leak requiring additional surgeries, pain, suffering and permanent scarring. Defense argued that there was no deviation and that this was a known risk of the procedure. Jury returned a no cause verdict in favor of the defendant finding no deviation from the standards of care.
