Mr. Tuzzio is a Senior and Founding Partner of the Law Firm. He graduated from Rutgers College with Honors in 1980, earning the James Suydam Award for Best Essay by a Rutgers College Senior. He proceeded on a scholarship to Seton Hall University School of Law from which he graduated in 1983. He was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey in 1983. He is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Tuzzio has tried over 75 cases to verdict. He has a specialty in defense of catastrophic transportation, general liability, professional malpractice, product liability and insurance coverage matters. He has argued or participated in numerous successful appellate matters resulting in reported opinions including Washington v. Perez, James v. Torres, Feldman v. Lederle Laboratories, Malin v. Union Carbide, Lewis v. Hopewell Valley Racquet Club, Boyson v. Archer & Greiner and Myrick v. Resorts International.
Mr. Tuzzio earned an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell. In 2001, he was named a Trustee of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey. In 2004, he was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocacy. He has lectured to the bar, law schools and defense industry on a variety of topics.
