James M. Ronan, Jr.

As a Senior and Founding Partner of Ronan, Tuzzio & Giannone, Mr. Ronan specializes in defending complex and significant personal injury matters, particularly in the field of medical malpractice. He began trying cases very early in his life as a lawyer and has obtained a number of defense jury verdicts in serious personal injury cases. Mr. Ronan continues to actively serve as Lead Trial Attorney on behalf of RTG in many high exposure matters.

In recognition of his expertise in the trial of medical legal matters, hospitals have frequently appointed Mr. Ronan as Presiding Officer in Fair Hearings (often upon the recommendation and request of counsel involved in these proceedings).

In gratitude for the many benefits bestowed upon him, Mr. Ronan has sought to “give back” to the legal profession and his community by serving as:

After graduating with Honors from the University of Notre Dame and graduating Cum Laude from Villanova Law School (where he served as Associate Editor for the Villanova Law Review, President of the Inter-Club Council, Editor of the Law School Newspaper and Honor Board Member), Mr. Ronan went on to serve as Law Clerk for the late Honorable Clarkson S. Fisher, Sr., United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.

Admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, United States District Court, District of New Jersey, United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court, Mr. Ronan has argued cases before the New Jersey Supreme Court as well as in a number of Appellate Division matters.

Jim and his wife, Rita, reside in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, happily surrounded by their three daughters, their spouses and eight grandchildren.
