As a Senior and Founding Partner of Ronan, Tuzzio & Giannone, Mr. Ronan specializes in defending complex and serious personal injury matters, particularly in the field of medical malpractice. He has tried innumerable cases to jury verdict and has successfully participated in a number of Appellate matters, including Geler v. Akawie, James v. Torres, Haynes v. Ethicon, Marsella v. Monmouth Medical Center, Galvin v. Deutsch and Ryan v. Renny.
Mr. Ronan graduated with Honors from the University of Notre Dame in 1973 and graduated Cum Laude from Villanova Law School in 1976. He served as Associate Editor for Villanova Law Review. Mr. Ronan clerked for the late Honorable Clarkson S. Fisher, Sr., United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
Mr. Ronan has served as President of Haydn Proctor Inn of Court of the American Inn of Court, Chairman of the Legal and Forensic Expert Committee for Monmouth County and Member of the District Attorney Ethics Committee, Judicial Appointment Committee and Fee Arbitration Committee for Monmouth County.
He has achieved an “AV Preeminent Rating” from Martindale-Hubbell as well as inclusion in “Who’s Who in American Law”, along with recognition by The American Registry as one of America’s Most Honored Professionals and has been listed in ‘Super Lawyers’ as issued by Thomson Reuters.
Mr. Ronan has taught at the Civil Trial Advocacy Workshop and lectured at numerous seminars for Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education and other professional organizations.
Appointed for a number of years as Municipal Prosecutor for the Borough of Shrewsbury and the Borough of Rumson, Mr. Ronan also serves as Legal Counsel to the Bio-Ethics Committee for Monmouth Medical Center. He remains active in many civic and community affairs and was inducted into the Shore Regional High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame.
