Congratulations to Michael K. Tuzzio and John M. Hockin, Jr. on a “No Cause at Trial” in the Superior Court, Bergen County. The case, which was tried over a period of four days before the Honorable James J. DeLuca, J.S.C., involved a bus accident in which plaintiff contended that she was struck by a bus as a pedestrian causing permanent injuries and over $100,000 in medical expenses. The defendants contended that plaintiff was at fault for the happening of the accident by opening her car door into the side of the bus. Jury returned a 7-0 “No Cause” verdict in favor of the defendants on liability.
